In the sports season 2019/20, the Sergiev Posad City District exhibits more than 10 teams to participate in the Moscow Region Night Hockey League. Last week, a meeting of representatives of teams, the federation of the Sergiyevo Posad district and the night hockey league of the Moscow region took place in the Ice Complex "Sergiev Posad".
According to the chairman of the Sergiev-Posad Federation, Boris Borodotsky's Hockey Federation, in the new season, the regular championship of the Sergiev-Posad district will be transformed into a separate division of the northeastern conference of the 18+ League of Hope Division. Commands that meet the regulations of the competition will be able to take part in the All-Russian Night Hockey League tournament. In terms of skill, collectives will be divided into groups.
"We turned to us a regional representative of the night hockey league with a proposal to organize the championship between the teams of the North and East of the Moscow region. This is done in order to raise the game level of amateur teams, go to a better level, – commented Boris Borodotsky. – Teams from different settlements of the Sergiev Posadsky district will play with other teams of the Northwest conference, as well as butt matches with the teams of the South-West of the Moscow region. This is not only valuable experience, but also the chance to enter the leaders of the competition and take part in the All-Russian Festival of the Night Hockey League in Sochi. "
To participate in the competitions 12 teams have already applied: "Luch", "Ayripet", "Ros", Shemetovo, Vasilyevskoye, "Satellite", "Orbit" (Remmas), "ZTZ", "Chemist" (Spropuskovsky ), "Rusichi", "Vostok", "Olympus" (Bereznyaki).
Also in the Division "18+" will take part in the Zagorsk team, and in the 40+ division, Sergiev Posad will present a hockey club "Light".
In addition, the "Beam 50+" team will come to the struggle for the title of champion of the Moscow region. Last season, the hockey veterans became silver medalists of "regular regularity" and finalists of the Cup tournament "People's Hockey 50+".
