Yes, dear friends, already 65. Although, in fact, already 66. But in the "high" and "quiet" cabinets of the region, 1954, for some reason we have taken. In the subsequent text, you may understand why. In fact, this is not amenable to some logical explanation.

The Stadium "Builder" was built at the end of the 1940s, in the early 1950s, the stadium "Chemist", now "work". Participants in the first championship of the city of 1947 – "Builder", "Installer" and military units. In 1949-1951, nine factory teams were added. The best football players: Defender Anatoly Moiseenko, striker Anatoly Lavrinenko, midfielder Anatoly Razorovnov, Goalkeeper Vladimir Sinitsin, Insaid Vladimir Plekhanov. In 1954, the national team was created (the first coach is Konstantin Malashin).

In 1954, Owersk's football came out to the regional level: the team of "Welpshkol Youth" was made to the Cup final of the Chelyabinsk Region (on the basis of the "installer"). In 1955, they won the World Cup and were the second prize-winning championship of the Chelyabinsk region of 1954-56. And now think: how could the 1954 team belong to Chelyabinsk and under the same name – already Ozersk (I tried the state security – there were such times).

In 1956, the team was renamed – the "team of the city of Kyshtym", which also won the Cup of the region. In 1957, a new renaming was followed by a "Red Star" (Chelyabinsk) – on the basis of the military unit 3273 – she won in the Cup of the Chelyabinsk region and became the finalist of the Cup in 1958.

Further names: 1958-1962 – "skill", and from the 1963th – Granit (Chelyabinsk-40).

The team won twice in regional tournaments on Yuri Gagarin's prize. The next success was waiting for a long time.

During this period, football players played for the city team – several hundred people. And yet, for all these years, city football has not even reached the semi-professional level. But at all times, the rivals treated the team with respect, they knew that, although they were “average”, they could take points from any team.

And it has been that way for many years! On the one hand, our team, along with a daily allowance of 2 rubles 50 kopecks, on the other hand, the same "Start" (Sim) of the 1970s – 1980s, where the players were hidden all year round in the defense industry with salaries of that time under 300 rubles + premium.

With the arrival of Mikhail Pokhlebaev at the plant, football, it would seem, took a deep breath again, judge for yourself: 2016 – the third winner of the Regional Championship and the finalist of the Regional Cup, 2017 – the winners of the Regional Championship. In those years, the regional championship was divided into two groups. But for some reason the winner of group "A" received the title of Champion of the region, and the winner of group "B" – the winner of the Championship of the region. Although the teams were almost equal in strength – in the same Cup final in 2016, we played with a team from group "A" – Football Academy (Chelyabinsk).

But since 2018, something has gone wrong with football again.
