World Ashihara Carat Championship held from 3 to 7 November in the capital of Romania – Bucharest

Aktau athlete and coach part-time Alexander Balandin was the only participant in the national team of Kazakhstan. The results of the fights of their ward shared the executive director of the Ashihara Karate Federation on the Mangystau region and the senior coach Igor Otarov, Lada.kz reports.

The world championship on Ashihara Karate took place from 3 to 7 November in the capital of Romania – Bucharest. Participation took about 200 athletes from 15 countries. Because of the pandemic and closing of the borders, representatives of some states could not appear on competitions.

Alexander Balandin performed in the weight category up to 70 kilograms. For the exit to the semifinals, he won the battle at the Dane. After the exit to the final, Karatek was overcome from Romania. In the final, he also won over Romanian, thereby becoming the winner of the Golden Award and the Championship Cup. In addition, Alexander recognized the best technical fighter of the championship and awarded another cup.

– I perform the inspirer for him. And honestly, he in itself is a very disciplined person. He dedicated this victory to his ambitions– Igor Otarov shared.

It is worth noting that from September of this year, Alexander began to train children. He already has two groups. Igor Otarov prepared it to the World Cup in Romania.

Next year, Alexander ends the Humanitarian College in Aktau with a degree in Physical Culture and Sport. He is among the three students who go to a red diploma.

The fighters are plans to show itself at the Asia Championship in Ashihara Karate, which will be held on March 7 and 8 in Tashkent.

Today, Alexander is the owner of a black belt (the second Dan) on Ashihara Karate.

In 2018, Alexander Balandin was already becoming the world champion in Ashihara Karate among juniors.
